# How to Stake

* Staking is a public good for the user. Any user with any amount of ETH, BTC, or FRTS can help secure the network and earn rewards in the process.
* The functionality allows you to own a currency you own—current options include FRTS, BTC, and ETH—you can stake some of your holdings and earn percentages over time. You can consider this the same as an interest-bearing savings account.
* Users can also send a part of their stake's interest to donate to regions sponsored by FRUITS, calling for.
