# How to Stake

* Staking is a public good for the user. Any user with any amount of ETH, BTC, FRTS can help secure the network and earn rewards in the process.
* The functionality allows you to own a currency (current options include: FRTS, BTC, ETH) and stake some of your holdings and earn rewards over time. You can consider this the same as an interest-bearing savings account.
* Users can also send a part of their stake's interest to donate to regions and social services sponsored by FRUITS.
